A cycleWASH Pro station with a mountain bike on the loading ramp

Open 24 hours. Unstaffed. Paid at the machine.

A self-contained bicycle wash with cashless payment built in — it runs unattended, needs no fixed fresh-water supply, and earns from the day it arrives. Bike shops, hotels, campsites, employers and city authorities in 24 countries run one.

  • 1,000,000+ bikes washed

We produce manual, semi-automatic, fully automatic. All made in Germany.

cycleWASH builds patented bike washing systems that clean a bicycle in minutes and recycle the water they use — one machine for a workshop corner, or a full multi-bay site. Built for dealers, municipalities, rental fleets and workshops. With contactless payment and remote monitoring they also run unattended, as 24/7 self-service installations that earn while the shop is closed.

Which machine fits?

Two questions, as a general guideline. Where it stands and how many bikes a month point at the right machine; who operates it and whose bikes they are can move the answer, so treat this as a starting point.

Machines

Wash a bike without a hose

Five systems, one principle: brushes and recycled water do the work, so a wash costs litres instead of hundreds of litres.

The questions we get on every call

Answered here, so you do not have to ring to find out.

What does it cost?
From €13,990 for the manual Mini Station to €52,000 for the Pro Platinum with wash and dry — net, ex works Cologne. Every machine is priced on the site; the selector above narrows it to one.
Does it take contactless?
Yes. All the common electronic payment systems: credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Coin operation is available as well, and the payment terminal is a factory option rather than a retrofit.
Does it need a fixed water connection?
It depends on the mode. In ECO mode the machine recycles its own water and needs no fixed fresh-water supply — the tank can be filled by hand, from buckets if need be. A drain connection is required in every case. In standard mode it draws fresh water for each wash instead of recycling it.
What electricity does it need?
230 V / 16 A single-phase, through the cable supplied. Nothing three-phase, no special installation. For sites with no mains at all, the off-grid solar configuration replaces it.
How many bikes can it wash in a day?
A cycle takes about three minutes in fast mode, or around five in premium mode — so roughly twenty bikes an hour at the quicker setting. In practice your opening hours are the limit rather than the machine, and because it takes payment itself and needs no attendant, those hours can be all of them.
Does it need a roof if it stands outside?
No — it is built to stand in the open with no cover or canopy. A canopy is still worth having for the people using it, in strong sun or rain. The installations that work best go a step further: a bench to wait on and to set belongings down, a vending machine for soap, water, snacks and coffee, and some planting so the spot looks cared for. Where the site allows it, a fresh-water and waste connection, and solar panels on the canopy roof, are a strong addition.
Can it stay outside over winter?
Yes. Drain the water down before the first frost and cover it with a box; it overwinters outdoors without being moved.
