Two ways to ship it
Every machine leaves the works either pallet-wrapped or crated. Pallet wrapping is lighter and quicker to unpack; the crate is built for the long journeys and is worth keeping. Export packaging is quoted separately.
- Pallet-wrappedStrapped to its own pallet with corner protection and stretch film, at standard pallet dimensions — it travels as general cargo and comes off in minutes.
- CratedA plywood box built to the machine, styrofoam-lined on a reinforced pallet, dimensioned for container and air freight.
- The crate is screwed, not nailedIt opens with a cordless screwdriver and closes again — nothing is prised off or destroyed on arrival.
- And the crate has a second lifeKeep it and it houses the machine over winter, protecting it from frost at an outdoor site.
Sized for the container
The machines stack, and a stack fits the width and height of a standard shipping container. A load carries machines rather than air, which is what keeps freight per unit down on export orders.

Containerised cargo: use FCA / CPT / CIP rather than FOB / CFR / CIF. cycleWASH sells its bike-washing systems EXW only — net, ex works Cologne (Incoterms 2020). Transport, insurance, customs clearance and import duties are the buyer’s. Export packaging is quoted separately. Payment: online orders are paid in full at checkout; orders placed by quote or purchase order pay two-thirds with the order and the remaining third before delivery. From stock where available; otherwise usually within 3–4 weeks (all models) after payment is received. Delivery is confirmed in the sales order.
