The Idea is Born
Founder Sachin Kumar sketches the first bicycle washing machine one week after his daughter’s birth. A wooden prototype takes shape within a month. First patent application filed October 28.
First Public Wash & Company Founded
April 24: ~60 bikes washed at the Mainz street festival debut — despite snow. Company founded with design studio quadot. CE certification, Eurobike debut, first delivery to Austria, and solar-powered mobile unit patented. Fast Company covers cycleWASH as one of the world’s first mobile bike-cleaning machines.
Financing & Mobile Systems
First mobile system deliveries across Germany and Sweden. Next-generation motor with electronic torque regulation. cycleWASH Advance prototype with fixed brushes unveiled. European & worldwide patent portfolio secured.
Ultrasonic Cleaning & DUO
cycleWASH DUO launched — the world’s first fully automatic bicycle cleaning machine in stainless steel with NFC payment (Apple Pay, Google Pay). EASYClick brush system patented. 40kHz ultrasonic transducers at 600W. First delivery to Poland.
Care Products & 500K Washes
Bicycle care product line launched. Anti-gravity brush patent. UNO Fluid Gun & AIR dryer developed. cycleWASH Station concept introduced. Exhibited at Eurobike 2019 (Hall DA-507). International Cycling Exhibition in Strasbourg. ECO & HYBRID water modes. 500,000+ washes.
